Okay, Stephanie and Eric’s Eagle Creek Park engagement session was basically the quintessential fall dream. Lakeside loving, color blooming, perfect moody vibes. Yesssss please.

And obviously Zoe came along too. Because what’s an engagement session without your best girl?

We spent the evening wandering around Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, which gave us the prettiest mix of fall color, lake views and all those moody October skies. These three made my job pretty dang easy.

Fall Engagement Photos at Eagle Creek Park

There’s a reason Eagle Creek is such a good spot for engagement photos. You get the woods, the water and so much room to wander around and make things feel a little different from one spot to the next. And in the fall? Indiana really does know how to show off.

Stephanie + Eric’s Eagle Creek Park engagement session had basically everything I love about photographing couples. We wandered without much of a plan, found some gorgeous pockets of fall color and let Zoe steal the show whenever she felt like it.

I also love when couples bring their dogs along for engagement photos. They’re part of your little family too, and even when they add a tiny bit of chaos, those usually end up being some of my favorite photos from the whole session.

Between the lake, the fall colors and those perfectly moody skies, Eagle Creek gave us a GOOD one.
