The day after their wedding, I met Alex and Cody to explore the ever gorgeous Rocky Mountain National Park. I mean, who can resist scenery like this when you’re in Colorado!? 😉 Earlier in the day there were high wind warnings, lots of clouds and the temperatures were in the 30’s. But with them leaving for their honeymoon the next day (and me + Marie flying back to Indiana) we knew we needed to make this happen. After driving up higher into the mountains the sun warmed the chilly wind (except for at the top-FREEZING) and the view was clear! We had been hoping for the clouds to dispose all weekend after scanning the weather reports. My heart couldn’t have been happier! Green and blue mountains, sun, slowly drifting snow and wind. This Midwest girl was in a dream getting to work with such incredible landscaping and such a sweet couple.
