A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor to document Mizuki and Nick’s wedding celebration on their first anniversary of marriage. They were married a year ago surrounded by a few of their closest friends and family. However, they have also spent the past year planning a day that would not only include more friends and loved ones but also Mizuki’s family all the way from Japan. This day was truly one of the most beautiful I have ever photographed because of the incredible mix of culture gathering together to support two people they love. Their day was hosted in the gardens of Minnetrista and couldn’t have been more lovely. As you walked up and down the brick paths there were handwritten signs, string lights and a soft breeze drifting through the trees. They decorated with tones of cream, navy, pink and the most GORGEOUS fresh flowers. I’m pretty sure this goes down as one of the most easy going and beautiful weddings I’ve ever been part of. Mizuki and Nick, you two are so kind and such an incredible couple. Thank you for inviting me into your celebration!
