My little sis is MARRIED! Lauren + Matt’s intimate Gatlinburg wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Lauren + Matt started dating when Cal was 4 days old, so he’s been part of the family for ages, but it was such a joy to make it official. I could go on and on about these two, but I’ll just say this: the love, respect and friendship you share is fierce. It’s been obvious from the very beginning.
An Intimate Mountain Wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee
They chose a cabin tucked into the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a small celebration. And those Smoky Mountain views? Unreal.
Of course, the mountains like to do their own thing. We got plenty of clouds and rain throughout the day, but honestly, it made everything even prettier. Fog settled into the mountains and gave us the dreamiest backdrop for photos.
There’s something extra special about an intimate wedding like this. The whole day felt relaxed and focused on what mattered most. Lauren + Matt got married, celebrated with their favorite people and let the Smoky Mountains handle the scenery.
Photographing my own sister’s Gatlinburg wedding was pretty dang special too. I got to document these moments while watching two people I love get married. Definitely one I’ll never forget.
